Welcome to the last day of the Southpaw-Comics 4th Anniversary Weekend! As I promised yesterday afternoon, I'd also post a villains trivia list, so here we go!
1. Elliot Mathers, Decimo: The first SDU villain. Jared and I went with a "Dark Mirror" to Jon Speyer's Golden Dynamo because we felt he'd be a more realistic first villain. Just strong and insane enough to intimidate and push the first time heroes and to break their leader.
2. Roger Reed, Crack Shot: The former Scout Sniper turned gun for hire is a very active member in his community on Chicago's West Side. Regularly participating in volunteer programs, Roger is very respected by his neighbors and he enjoys going to Church. But even the best of us have dark secrets and double lives.
3. The Broker: The Broker is someone who has been in the background all this time.
4. General Jeffrey McCallo: He was created to vent my frustration about someone I knew in high school, who was so obsessed with the military, that he actually made my personal life difficult. Thankfully we've patched things up since then and Gen. McCallo has become...or will become quite the over-the-top character.
5. Canicus, the fallen Fire God: Canicus is another character that fell victim to "this character has this name already". Originally called "Ignitus" we had to change it because there's a villain in Spyro the Dragon with that very name.
6. Tyraebus: If you thought he was bad before, his ORIGINAL name was "Geno'ceide". Yeah, we changed it because it was too close to DC's Darkseid.
7. Lieutenant Hanks: The only one-off villain the SDU ever had, I made him because I've always been a sucker for a conspiracy story and just needed someone to betray Wayne and his Marines. Lieutenant Hanks was that guy.
