Alright, now that the February Tiger-Man: Ascension push is over and Volume III's title and release month has been revealed, I can share some stuff! Now, admittedly this week, nothing much has happened in the way of sales or even writing Magmantium War because I've been sick, but I feel a little better now!
But, I've only been sick the last week and we're starting our 3rd month of 2020 already, so I must've been working on Magmantium War for more than a week, right? You would be right! The entire book has been put together, a Death Stalker chapter has been added, and I'm adding stuff to Story II.
Just a little bit about Magmantium War, and I'm going to be 100% transparent with you readers: "Special Defense Unit Vol. III: Magmantium War" is the culmination of Vol. I: Unite!, Vol. II: Fray, and Tiger-Man: Ascension. If my math is correct (which I would not count on) Magmantium War is most likely going to be the shortest of the novels (Tiger-Man is a novella so Vol. III will be longer than Tiger is), this is because it lacks set-up and it's just 'action-action-action' up until the end. I want this novel to come across as the end of a saga, with a little tease of something new on the horizon.Which leads me comfortably into wanting to address Volume IV right away: Yes, there will be one, but not anytime soon. Right now we're working on the comic adaptations of the novels...yeah, the COMICS part of Southpaw-Comics is gonna be coming at some point. I dunno when, but it will be. It's a lot more expensive than one would think and I'm 1 guy and I'm doing it all out of pocket so it's going to take some time. That's one last thing I'd like to address, despite saying it a million times and having it in every description, these are superhero novels. Book-books, powered by words and imagination only-type books. Not comics. Books. Comics coming soon, I'll let ya know because those updates are going to be much more frequent and have lots more pictures.In closing, after all of this news, I'm going to be back on Magmantium War hopefully by next week. This cold or bronchitis or...whatever this was, took the momentum right out from under me and I just haven't worked on it. But soon, we will be back so Stay Tuned!
